About Natures Hand Brynmawr

A different approach to care

Natures Hand Brynmawr was established to approach care in a different and better way. We pride ourselves on investing in every person who we work alongside to achieve their best lives.

Working closely with people’s circle of care, we ensure the person and those around them contribute to the development of their ongoing care and support. Each service has a structured team around it to ensure the highest quality service is achieved and maintained.

As an organisation we not only invest in our teams but also in the people we support by developing opportunities to build and develop people’s social outcomes. We feel this is a key contributor to supporting people to achieve positive well-being, confidence, and increased independence.
We believe people being involved in their care and support is fundamental to a successful service and the foundation to which the organisation is built on. It is a passion and drive for us.

We believe it is important to listen, understand and actively support people to channel ideas and change. Success to us is seeing people thrive and be happy, achieve the goals they have longed for and become as independent as possible. Every small step is a huge achievement to us!

As an organisation we have an Autism Champion. An incredibly driven and experienced member of the team who has channelled their passion and enthusiasm for understanding and advocating for people with an Autism Spectrum diagnosis into the role of our Autism Champion.

This allows our support workers to have a core understanding through training and coaching and in addition, this allows us to focus along with professionals on identifying alternative approaches to care, completing workshops to bring ideas together and really drive a quality and bespoke service.

We are proud of our ever-developing activity team who go above and beyond to create a variety of social opportunities open to all people we support, from walking groups to boost wellbeing, a Monday morning breakfast club and gardening opportunities, to all manner of celebratory events in our two designated activity spaces within Gwent as well as utilising partnership working with the local community

Innovative. Personalised. Caring.
